Dreams really do come true

I am pretty sure there are few things more rewarding than satisfying a kid’s dream, and that is just what Malia’s parents did for her 10th birthday. For weeks Malia has been telling me, “The only thing I want for my birthday is a sewing machine. I REALLY hope I get one, but my dad says they are expensive so I might not. But it is the only thing I really want.”

Thanks to her great parents, Malia’s wish came true. I have never seen a young girl as excited about sewing as Malia, and I can’t wait to see what she creates on her own with her “new-to-her” Viking Husqvarna. Keep your eye on this one – you just might be able to say “I knew her when…” 🙂

Happy sewing!
