First project of 2012

Do you like beginnings, or endings best? Maybe you prefer the (hopefully!) smooth functioning of the middle of a project? Usually, I am ALL about beginnings. The next new, shiny, thing is what interests me most, so as you might imagine, I am normally GREAT at starting projects.

But for some strange reason I am not sure what to make next. Evidently I have high anxiety over what project merits my first sewing project of 2012. 🙂 Straight leg jeans using Japanese selvage denim and the vintage Calvin Klein jeans pattern, OOP Vogue 2442?

Maybe a new Upline jacket from Sewn Square One, using some pretty, red wool jacquard  in my stash?

I could really use some new T-shirts, and I have some new Jalie patterns I’d like to try, or the striped Katherine Tilton Vogue 8710 would be cute too.

Of course, my husband needs more dress shirts, and he also expressed interest in some Polartec 300 pants for mountain climbing. Yawn. Kinda like Goldilocks, nothing seems just right.

What about you? Are you raring to go with new projects yet? Send me some inspiration, puh-leeze!

Happy sewing!

I vote for the Upline jacket. I’ve been curious about the fit on that one.

    Hugs!
